About Me

  I am a young woman who desires to serve God and encourage others. As a daughter of the King, I am constantly growing in the knowledge of God who empowers me to endure all things with joy and bear witness to the grace and mercy of my Savior.

  I'm on a journey of grace that is transforming head knowledge into heart knowledge. Often this journey is frightening because of the amount of trust it requires. At the same time it continually draws me much closer to the Lord and gives me a deeper appreciation of His word. A major part of the journey so far has dealt with my reluctance and/or refusal to share with others what God was laying on my heart. Over and over God kept showing me that a vibrant spiritual life is impossible to hide. Any attempts to contain it cause us to limit what we allow God to do through us.

  I started this blog so that I could share some thoughts, insights, and illustrations on what it means to live as Christians. Reflections has a double meaning. First it is about meditating and reflecting on the Word of God. (Ps 119:4-6, 14-16, 143:5) Secondly, we are called to bear the image of Christ and reflect His glory. (1 Cor 10:31, 2 Cor 3:17-18, Eph 4, Col 3) I believe that we will continue to do both in Heaven.

  I pray that those who read this will be encouraged. When ordinary people rely on an extraordinary God the impossible becomes possible and the hidden becomes visible.
